IB Diploma Programme examinations commence Monday 4 November!

During November approximately two and a half thousand Australasian senior secondary IB Diploma candidates will sit their final exams.

International Baccalaureate Diploma Examinations run from 4 to 22 November. Students sit for these examinations across Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and Fiji.

Individual schools will have an examination timetable for their school and have provided candidates with personalised timetables. The IB Diploma general timetable may be found here.

A total of 2,681 students in Australia and 346 in New Zealand will sit for these examinations.  In Victoria there are 779 candidates, 553 in Queensland, 642 in NSW, 442 in South Australia, 169 in the ACT, 60 in Western Australia and 35 in Tasmania. Additional students sit for these examinations in PNG and Fiji.  Results will be released on 3 January, 2020.

The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme is a highly regarded senior secondary programme designed to prepare students for university and the challenges of a rapidly changing world.  It is sat for by approximately 190,000 students in more than 4,000 schools in over 140 countries worldwide in examination sessions in May or November this year.
