From 2026, students will have the choice of pursuing either the Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE) or the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) — reflecting our belief in meaningful choice and academic excellence. While involvement in the IBDP is not required for this role, we actively support staff who are interested in professional development across both pathways.
The Role
This is a permanent, full-time position, commencing from the 2026 academic year. The successful candidate will:
- Teach Mathematical Methods (Years 11–12) and Mathematics (Years 7 to 10)
- Join a collaborative, high performing and innovative Mathematics Department
We are looking for a teacher who:
- Has expertise in Mathematical Methods and an understanding of the QCAA and Australian Curriculum.
- Values innovation, teamwork and ongoing professional growth.
- Understands that positive relationships are integral to effective learning.
- Holds current Queensland College of Teacher Registration (QCT) and relevant tertiary qualifications.

Employment Classification
The salary and conditions of employment for Academic staff are in accordance with the Presbyterian and Methodist Schools Association (PMSA) Enterprise Agreement 2025, as varied or replaced from time-to-time.
