School Administration Officer

The Central West Leadership Academy seeks a school administration officer to join the growing team of dedicated professionals. The CWLA is a Year 1-10 school with 90 students and is located in Dubbo. We are a future focused and growing school looking for the right person to help us as we expand. This position is available for a term 3 start but the start date can be flexible.

The role will cover a wide range of administration duties from data entry, clerical, purchasing, first aid, bookkeeping, organizing events, proofreading, grant writing and reporting.

We are looking for someone who is team-oriented, discreet, able to exercise initiative, reliability, patience, empathy, friendliness and is flexible.

Specific Job Skills:

A high level of attention to detail
Experience in an office environment
Ability to plan, organise, prioritise and problem solve
Ability to work independently and without supervision
Ability to communicate with a broad section of the local community
Comfortable with technology including Microsoft Word, Publisher, Excel and Xero
A working knowledge of Edumate (an advantage)
An understanding of the expectations relating to Child Protection in a school environment

This is a permanent position and the work hours during school terms are from 8.45am to 4.45pm Monday to Friday.

This role is a School Administration Services Grade 3 role. It could be a grade 4 position if the candidate holds suitable qualifications and skills. Working with Children Check (WWCC) is a requirement.
