About the Role

Working within the culture and ethos of the school, the Learning Support Assistant works as part of the Individual Learning Department providing inclusive and evidence-based opportunities to students with diverse learning needs in Years 7 – 12.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and passionate educator to assume a support position in a highly effective and prestigious school.

About You

You are dedicated, passionate and possess the following:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to interact with students, parents, and teaching professionals
• sound interpersonal skills including the ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• well-developed organisational skills that will assist in the teaching of effective learning behaviours to students
• strong ICT skills
• the ability to support students in Mathematics is desirable but not essential
• the ability to assist with the general health and well-being of students.
• Diploma or Certificate III in Children’s Services or equivalent or be willing to study towards one
• Senior First Aid certificate with childcare component or a willingness to obtain one
