Who we are
Canberra Girls Grammar School (CGGS) is an independent non-selective Anglican school with an enrolment of approximately 1,300 students. The School has a strong reputation as a leader in the education of girls. 

CGGS is an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School authorised to offer the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP) and the Diploma Programme (DP).

The Role
The School is looking for a passionate and professional individual to teach a combination of PDHPE, Mathematics and Ethics.  The position would ideally suit a teacher who is able to teach across two of these disciplines, or a proportion if you’re able to teach in one or two areas. 

This is a great opportunity for a beginning or newly graduated teacher to join Canberra Girls Grammar School in a part-time capacity (0.75FTE) for the remainder of 2022.

The Faculties share a passion for excellence in teaching and have a record of fostering outstanding student achievement. Collaboration and a commitment to professional learning are highly valued.

An ability to inspire students through engaging and challenging teaching is essential. Knowledge of the Australian Curriculum, the International Baccalaureate (MYP and/or DP) and the BSSS Programmes would be highly regarded.

Appropriate academic qualifications and teacher training, as well as a sound understanding of current educational trends and learning styles are required.

All teaching staff members are expected to take part in the whole life of the School including participation in pastoral care and involvement in co-curricular School activities.
