An opportunity exists for a passionate and experienced French teacher to join Kambala’s languages department. The successful candidate will work with a motivated and collaborative team that delivers a creative, future-focussed education.

In partnership with the Director of Curriculum and Head of Department, the successful applicant will be responsible for delivering outstanding academic programs and nurturing a culture of collaboration.

We are looking for a teacher who:

  • is passionate about the teaching of French
  • is a fluent French speaker
  • has experience of, or willingness to train for, teaching the IB French B SL and HL courses
  • possesses a thorough understanding of the process of second language acquisition
  • has a natural rapport with staff and girls
  • has the ability to engage students and inspire them to achieve the best results
  • possesses a strong academic record in a subject-specific qualification
  • is confident in differentiating the curriculum in the classroom
  • will actively support the vision of the department and ethos of the school
