Hunter Valley Grammar School is seeking to employ a permanent full-time English Teacher with demonstrated experience teaching Stage 6 English Advanced. This role will commence in Term 1 2023.
About the role
Reporting to the Head of Faculty
As a Year 7-12 English Teacher, you will provide an academically challenging, stimulating, and safe environment where students are enthused about their English studies. You will foster a commitment to continuous improvement, collaboration and sharing of knowledge and information with colleagues. The successful applicant will be expected to undertake the appropriate provided professional learning to teach Years 7-10 within the framework of the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP). You will be expected to make a significant contribution to the school’s extensive co-curricular program in your area(s) of interest or expertise.
The successful applicant will have a full-time teaching load equivalent to up 46 x 50-minute periods over a two-week (60 period) cycle. All staff are expected to be on campus each term from 8:00am until at least 4:00pm, Monday to Friday.

The salary for this position aligns with the Independent Schools NSW/ACT Standards Model (Teachers) Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2021. You will be paid in alignment with your level of accreditation.
