Counsellor/Psychologist

Applications are now open for a Counsellor/Psychologist to join the Queen Margaret College Wellbeing Team. The successful applicant will play a critical role in the wellbeing of QMC students, assisting them in forming positive relationships and cultivating healthy mindsets.

The Wellbeing Team is led by the Deputy Principal Wellbeing and supported by QMC students and staff who are proactive in cultivating wellbeing, guided by the College’s Proactive Wellbeing Strategy.

 

We invite applications from experienced counsellors or counselling psychologists to join our Wellbeing Team to provide professional and confidential services to our students and their families. Applicants should have a relevant postgraduate qualification and be a member of a professional counselling association.

 

Applicants interested in either a part-time or full-time position are encouraged to apply.

The successful applicant(s) must be flexible, committed and have the skills to build positive relationships and work successfully with students, parents, and staff within our Proactive Wellbeing Strategy.

You will be:

  • Passionate about providing a high standard of counselling and support to students from Years 1–13
  • A team player who will work collaboratively within our Wellbeing team
  • Experienced in developing and facilitating programmes to build student resilience, enhance wellbeing and improve emotional health.
