Sophia Mundi Steiner School and IB World School is seeking a dynamic and accomplished Spanish Teacher to commence at the beginning of Term 2, The ability to engage and inspire students together with proven capacity to work independently and a willingness to collaborate with colleagues, are essential qualities for this role.
Sophia Mundi teachers are knowledgeable and skilled educators who possess an in-depth understanding of their subjects, have a wide range of effective pedagogical practices to engage all learners, and are skilled at assessing teaching and learning using a wide set of evidence.
The ideal candidate will be a creative and enthusiastic teacher able to bring the Spanish language and culture to life for students in Years 10 – 12. The ability to cater for different levels within a class is essential. Preference will be given to candidates who have taught IB Diploma Spanish Ab Initio or Spanish B and are excellent or native speakers. Experienced VCE Spanish teachers are also welcome to apply.
This position is part-time, with an allocation of 0.37 EFT – working 3 part-days/ week. There is possibility for additional allocation depending on the applicants’ qualifications and experience.
