Radford College is an Anglican co-educational day school catering for students from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12. The College is located in the Canberra suburb of Bruce.
We are currently recruiting for a temporary full-time Library Assistant to cover a period of Maternity Leave.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated and energetic team, in an environment that is a continually evolving to meet the needs of our community and emerging trends in school libraries and education.
Library Assistants play a key role in the daily operations of the Library, with a focus on providing exemplary customer service to our staff and students. They work as part of a multi-skilled team, focusing on processing library materials and loan desk operations in our Junior and Secondary libraries and Bookroom.
The ideal candidate will be motivated, flexible, highly-organised, has a keen eye for detail, competent at using and troubleshooting ICT, works collaboratively and independently, and is passionate about school libraries and their future.
Qualifications in Diploma of Library and Information Services (or equivalent), or currently studying, will be highly regarded.
