Primary School Teacher - Contract Position

• Seeking an enthusiastic Primary School Teacher to join the CGS team

About the Role 

We are seeking suitably qualified, innovative and enthusiastic teachers who would like to submit their application for fixed term roles commencing in mid to late 2024.   

An exciting opportunity to join a school of passionate team of educators who deliver the academic program in a way that fosters the pursuit of excellence and attainment of each student’s potential. Expressions of interests are open to graduate and experienced qualified teachers capable of teaching from early childhood to year 6. 

About You 

You are dedicated, passionate and possess the following: 

• Proven experience to develop innovative academic pathways to achieve outstanding academic results for all students 
• The ability to work collaboratively with other members of staff and lead others 
• PYP experience or an understanding of Inquiry pedagogy 
• The ability to implement initiatives, project delivery and change management 
• Administrative and organisational skills 
• Communication and interpersonal skills 
• Commitment to the full life of an Independent school and a willingness to engage in School activities out of regular hours 

All team members at CGS are required to have: 

• Appropriate qualifications 
• A valid ACT Working with Vulnerable People Card 
• A current National Police Check; and 
• Full working rights within Australia.
