Canberra Girls Grammar School (CGGS) is an independent Anglican school with an enrolment of approximately 1,400 students and a 90 year tradition as a leader in the education of girls.

Situated in the Canberra suburb of Deakin, our school consists of three campuses; the ELC and Junior School, the Senior School and the Yhuuramulum learning facility located on the shore of Lake Burley Griffin. Overlooking Parliament House, our Senior School Campus is also the location of our Boarding House with both international and domestic students in residence.

We are seeking applications for this senior leadership position to commence in January 2020. This is a five-year term appointment. The school may offer an extension of the term at its discretion.

With direct oversight of the six Heads of House and counsellors, the Director (Students) will actively contribute to the development and support of our students both pastorally and academically. As a member of the Senior Management Team, and reporting through the Head of Senior School to the Principal, this role is responsible for the implementation of the Strategic Design (2020 – 2025).
