The Friends’ School, Hobart, is a pre K - 12 coeducational residential and day school, under the auspices of The Religious Society of Friends (Quakers).

The Friends’ School is seeking to appoint an outstanding educator to this newly created position, to commence January 2020. This position will provide leadership for our early learning centre, Friends’ Early Learning, and Kinder, Prep and Year 1 at Morris – Friends’ Primary Years.

The Deputy Head will be the curriculum leader for that section of the School, with a specific focus on early learning teaching to Year 1, delivering the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP) and the Australian Curriculum (ACARA). This position will also share responsibility as the IB Primary Years Programme Coordinator. The successful applicant will be supportive of the Quaker values on which The Friends’ School is based.
