Heads of Department are key voices in the decision-making processes at our School and collaborate with the Wellbeing Team to ensure excellent outcomes for our students.

As an International Baccalaureate World School, it is our aim that students personally experience the highest standard of teaching and learning to achieve their best academic outcomes. Applications from suitably qualified candidates with both International Baccalaureate (IB) and NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) are invited to apply.

We are seeking to appoint an experienced secondary school educator who can demonstrate:

  • Commitment to the School’s Mission including the ability to explain how their faith position impacts on their leadership and teaching role.
  • Commitment to the School’s Strategic Vision.
  • Excellent teacher (as described by Highly Accomplished and Lead Australian Professional Teacher Standards).
  • Demonstrated skills in Student Wellbeing.
  • Superior knowledge of pedagogy and practice.
  • Superior knowledge and experience in the teaching of English.
  • Superior knowledge of the NESA syllabus.
  • Demonstrated team leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated team membership skills.

Knowledge of International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP) would be an advantage.

This is a Permanent/Full-time Leadership Level 2 position
