MLC School is looking for a passionate and dedicated Pre-K to Year 6 Music Teacher to join our collegiate Music Team. This is a temporary full-time position to commence in Term 1, 2020 until the end of 2020.

Selection criteria:
- Experience as a Junior School Music Classroom Teacher
- Hold recognised degrees and diploma qualifications in Music teaching and Music Performance
- Accreditation with NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
- A demonstrated ability to plan, implement and evaluate Music programs
- Excellent administrative, communicative and organizational skills
- Fluent piano reading and performing skills
- Preference will be given to strings and piano specialists
- The ability to develop innovative music programmes that align with the NESA Music syllabus for Early Stage 1, and Stages 1, 2, and 3
- The capability and understanding to teach stage 4 music as required
- A thorough understanding of K to 6 music education pedagogy
- The passion and motivation to inspire girls to develop a continued enthusiastic involvement in the co-curricular music ensemble programme throughout their Junior School Education
- Preference will be given to candidates with a background in string instruments and/or piano accompaniment skills
