The Riverina Anglican College is seeking to appoint a Director of College Wellbeing who is an outstanding wellbeing professional and visionary leader with the capacity to embrace and enhance the College mission, vision and core values. The Director of College Wellbeing is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of a K – 12 Wellbeing Framework for students, staff and the College community. The appointment will commence in January 2021.

Located in Wagga Wagga in the picturesque Riverina region of NSW, The Riverina Anglican College is an International Baccalaureate World School within the Anglican Diocese of Canberra/Goulburn. The College offers a wide variety of cocurricular activities, service learning, leadership opportunities, and the full range of subjects from the IB Diploma Programme and the NSW curriculum. The College will open a new Junior School for K-6 students in 2021.

The Director of College Wellbeing will have an integral role in leading and enhancing all aspects of student and staff wellbeing and community education. They will be responsible for the review, development, implementation and oversight of exceptional wellbeing programs, structures, policies and procedures within the College (K-12) that align with the mission, vision, and core values. The position provides an opportunity for an exceptional professional to develop and lead an effective and innovative approach to wellbeing that is responsive to the needs of the College’s students, staff and community.

The Director of College Wellbeing will keep the Principal and Heads of Sub-Schools fully informed about all matters within the roles and responsibilities of the position.

The Director of College Wellbeing has a clearly defined role with responsibilities, delegations and leadership in the areas of:

  • Strategic vision and leadership
  • Wellbeing culture and leadership development
  • Development, implementation and leadership of the College Wellbeing Framework
  • Student wellbeing and culture
  • Leadership of the Leaders of Wellbeing
  • Public relations and external communications
  • Staff professional learning
  • Meeting key performance indicators
