St.Peter’s Girls’ first IB Diploma cohort graduated in 2014. Our students have choice within all subject groups with most subjects offered at both HL and SL. The school has a growing body of experienced IB faculty, including IB examiners, IB workshop leaders and other IB Educator roles within the organisation. Our subjects offered are listed below:
Group 1 subjects (Studies in language and literature): English: literature, Chinese: language and literature. Other mother tongue languages may be available, with school support.
Group 2 subjects (Language acquisition): English B, Chinese B, French B, Japanese B, Spanish ab initio. Other languages may be available through external providers, upon request.
Group 3 subjects (Individuals and their societies): Economics, Global Politics, Psychology. Other subjects may be available through external providers, upon request.
Group 4 subjects (Experimental Sciences): Biology, Chemistry, Physics.
Group 5 subjects (Mathematics): Mathematics Analysis and Approaches, Mathematics Applications and Interpretation.
Group 6 subjects (Arts and electives): Music, Theatre Arts, Visual Arts, or a second subject studied from groups 1-4.
